Shaved ice was needed after sitting out in the sun collecting shoes at the drop off.

We wrapped up our shoe drive with a very successful push at the end! Thank you to all who participated!!! We could not have come close to our goals without each and every one of you!

Thanks upon thanks to Lamar and Chad Ontko for setting it all up; for storing community-collected shoes in their garage and attic for 2 years in preparation for this drive; for tying, rubber-banding, and bagging literally thousands of shoes; for securing the storage unit for our drop-off location; AND THEN running all over town on Saturday to collect the last 100+ shoes to bump us to the next level of compensation! Their drive and dedication to this program are unmatched, and we are all blessed beyond measure by their commitment to us!
